Engineered Racing Solutions was founded with a simple goal: give racers shock and suspension solutions built around their car, their driving style, and their tracks — not generic, one-size-fits-all setups.

Owner and lead builder Ray Berna grew up in racing, working alongside his dad and uncles on everything from Street Stocks to Late Models. Over the last 20+ years, he has handled chassis setups, shock programs, and race-day adjustments for IMCA Modifieds and Late Models, contributing to multiple track championships and major feature wins.

After running the setup and shock program for a championship-winning Late Model team from 2017 through 2024, Engineered Racing Solutions was launched in 2025 to provide racers with a new, local shock builder backed by real racing experience.

At ERS, every customer relationship starts with a conversation. Track type, driving style, chassis and engine combinations, spring packages, and driver goals are all considered before a shock is ever built. The result is a custom shock package designed to improve consistency, tire wear, and driver confidence as track conditions change.

ERS proudly supports racers nationwide through in-shop service, shipping, and trackside consulting throughout the racing season.
